INDEPENDENT LANDWEHR FORMATION
2. Pommersches Landwehr „von Bamberg“
Attached to the 2. Pommersches Infanterie-Regiment for community and operational service, while retaining its own internal command, companies and identity.
THE EXPERIENCE
The same structure. A new Pomeranian identity.
Members still get organized events, Trupp-level belonging, advancement, staff opportunities, colours, honours and optional military education — now under a simpler two-company active structure.
Belong to a Trupp
Each active company keeps two Züge with five Trupps per Zug, preserving the close formation structure members already know.
Advance
Promotion requirements remain merit- and service-driven. Musketier is the sole junior specialist rank before the Gefreiter/Vize-Korporal split.
Earn Schützen Service
Gefreiter-or-higher members with at least 30 lifetime KPE may qualify for transfer into the Schützen-Kompanie „von Steinwehr“.
Study at Stettin
The Pommersche Kriegsschule zu Stettin remains rank-locked but completely optional. Courses no longer gate promotion.
Build the Formation
Recruiting, administration, artistic work, scheduling, colours, command and staff service remain available beyond ordinary line duty.

Two active companies. One reserve roster.
The active formation is deliberately simple: Landwehr is the main body; Schützen is the sole specialist company. Reserve is an inactive holding roster rather than a third active combat company.

The main line company and normal entry point for new members.
Two Züge, five Trupps each. Members build attendance, merits, KPE and leadership experience here before any specialist-company selection.

SPECIALIST COMPANY
Schützen-Kompanie „von Steinwehr“
The formation’s only specialist company, built around proven combat efficiency and experienced rankers.
Entry requirement: Gefreiter or higher and 30 lifetime KPE. Like Landwehr, it retains two Züge and five Trupps per Zug.

INACTIVE HOLDING
Reserve-Kompanie
A simple holding roster for inactive or reserve personnel.
Reserve is not part of the Landwehr → Schützen progression path and does not use the active two-Zug / ten-Trupp structure.

Fall in, meet your Trupp, and get into the field.
The transition changes the identity, not the goal: members should reach their first event quickly and know exactly where they belong.

Learn the formation by serving with it. Participation remains the fastest way to understand the unit.

Train or study
Use normal company training and, if you want additional structured learning, the optional Pommersche Kriegsschule zu Stettin.

Choose your path
Build merits and service toward promotion, leadership, staff work or eventual Schützen selection.
IN THE FIELD
The service continues.
Existing field imagery remains part of the formation’s history while new Pomeranian imagery replaces it over time.

POMERANIAN IDENTITY
White facings. Dark Prussian blue. A cleaner Landwehr character.
The visual system keeps the same Napoleonic service-ledger feel while shifting to Pomeranian provincial white, deep Prussian blue, black, aged brass and restrained red heraldic accents.
